RidDrop

This game was made as part of the Falling Block Jam 2025.

Description

In RipDrop the concept of Tetris is put upside down. Instead of controlling how the block falls, you can only controll how the block lands, by removing blocks through mining. You can craft usefull tools to help you in your endevur, just watch out to not get crushed undereath one of the falling blocks.

Gameplay 

A block being places gives you 10 points, while a finished row gives you 100 points. Solving multiple rows gives a multiplier for each row. So solving 3 rows at the same time gives 900 points. You will get an additional multiplier for finished rows, for the higher those rows are. So riskier strategies are being rewarded.

The game ends once a line of blocks reaches the top, just like in Tetris, or when you get hit by a falling block.

Controll

Use WASD to move the character around and you can jump with spacebar.
Use your mouse to select blocks and remove or place them.
Craft items by simply clicking on them in the UI.
To enter the menu, simply press ESC.
